Gas prices for me dropped pretty far already. About $0.40. (~$4.20 to ~$3.80) Though I want it to drop even more. $50 for half a tank is not fun.

I couldnt even fill my tank with $35 (only got 7~ gallons)....but I do expect the prices to increase by the end of the month---we have a holiday weekend coming up and gee, wouldnt that be a good time to gouge prices??????? (and the station on the corner is only open a few days a week now--yeah that will get them business)....the prices dropped a whole dime here

Illinois has some of the highest gas prices in the country thanks to our terrible government. Such a corrupt government here...

Anyways, yes I am looking forward to having gas prices drop some more. So they better do that!

my sister says that the gas by her (west burbs of chitown) is almost $4.50! and yes it did drop to $4.45...oh boy.

The day that the news was released that we finally got Osama Bin Laden the gas prices by my jumped $0.23, from $4.05 to 4.28. Bunch of bs. Then they started coming down. I just hope they continue this downward trend.

-NATO will succeed in annihilating Libyan Government forces,
-Muammar Gaddafi will have been successfully assassinated
-Egypt will finally have a new democratically-elected leader
-The new-elected leader will turn out to be a top Taliban-Operative/Leader
-Israel will be joint-attacked by Palestine and Egypt
-Israel will fall; The Jewish population will have to re-locate
-U.S. will win the war in Afghanistan; Unrest in Iraq will grow in response to events happening.

well after all of that I will NEED a vacation....

made bison chili for dinner....and watched the rain fall....thought it was only supposed to rain in april not in may----

not looking forward to $20/gallon gas...think I will take to walking again (and hubby will work EVERYday from home)

Actually, I would prefer some place cold atm...

I stopped at Culver's with my gf after we got her all packed up and were heading for my house. She is staying with my family and me till after my graduation. And ya, $20 a gallon would put a quick end to my driving... Spend $100+ bucks from filling up half a tank? Pass.

oy...and I gained your lost weight azzer (not all of that...I think the conversion is like 2.5x....so that is a LOT of weight) congrats!

......I am going to go and get some groceries...not exactly the fun thing of the week, but has to be done.

edit: returned from grocery store...passed the gas station---price is right back up where it was before the big dime drop....

It looks like gas around here is going to go back up soon as well. Which definitely sucks... At least I'll have an income starting in about a month.

Yay income! Um. Are you living off of savings or subsidies?
4.40 a gallon is terrible (why did I have to inherit a car that forces me to use Premium gas...?).
Ah well... I guess it'll be biking forever <3 (or at least a while).

Anyone got a nice bike?
I'm stuck with a mountain bike... a heavier frame than most, so it's a bit rough on the streets, but that doesn't mean I can't go fast! (I measured 15-20+mph on any long stretch of road- I sort of "race" cars in school zones, with me generally winning!)

not me--gotta baaad knee, so NO biking for me at all (hubby has an old bike from high school---franken bike as its known--2 flat tires as well ---high school for us was in the 80's)
yeah gas is just too expensive--I make sure I have a bunch of errands to run before I go out....we did find a place that had not raised it back up a dime, but still well over $4

Savings. And that is about it. Luckily I was able to save up around $3,000 so I was able to make it through this semester. Income is definitely coming soon.

Well tomorrow I walk across a stage effectively ending one part of my life and ending another. It is time to turn the page and begin a new chapter.

Thanks cosy and ya, I guess this does qualify me as "all grown up." And as far as I know the only "party" I'm having is lunch with my family and gf. Never been one for parties.
